At Lactalis Heritage Dairy, we are seeking a highly skilled Dairy Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Walton, NY.
The Dairy Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the HACCP system and Pre-Requisite Program by monitoring and reporting indicators linked to compliance of CCP's and OPRP's.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the manufacture of safe, quality food observing all Good Manufacturing Practices, being alert for bioterrorism and reporting off-standard or abnormal conditions.
- Inspect and audit the operation in all phases of quality performance observing Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Sanitation Practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in microbiology, food science, dairy science, food engineering or food technology or equivalent years of experience.
- 5 years minimum experience in dairy production and/or food industry - cheese experience preferred.
- 2 years minimum experience supervisor or team lead experience required.
