The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall food safety and quality systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing effective quality management practices across the plant.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining awareness of regulatory changes and advances in the state
- Ensuring the facility is always audit-ready
- Developing and training a team of internal auditors
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality compliance
The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of GFSI, HACCP, and US food regulations, as well as 7-9 years of related experience in manufacturing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, is also required.
