In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall food safety and quality systems, regulatory compliance programs at our plant located in Tulare, CA. You will ensure that our facilities meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Developing and implementing quality management systems (HACCP, FSSC22000)
- Assessing existing department programs, policies, and practices, making recommendations for improvements
- Ensuring the plant is always audit ready, acting as lead during audits
- Conducting daily monitoring activities of FSSC22000 programs, performing monthly inspections and internal audits
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Maintaining awareness of regulatory changes and advances in the state
- Communicating with all necessary parties on regulation changes related to Quality and Food Safety
- Acting as the primary interface with routine & non-routine regulatory agency representatives at the facility
