The Assistant Laboratory Manager will work in a fast-paced laboratory environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient operation of the laboratory.

Responsibilities:
- Support the Lab Manager in ensuring laboratory operations meet quality and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement laboratory protocols and procedures.
- Coordinate testing schedules and manage laboratory employees.
- Investigate out-of-spec microbiological results from equipment and product.
- Collaborate with production and quality areas to reduce holds and complaints.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, analytical chemistry, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in a plant laboratory preferably in the dairy industry.
- Strong basic laboratory skills (Chemistry and Microbiology).
- Strong Mathematics knowledge including stoichiometry and statistics.
- Effective and proficient communicator, both written and verbal.
- Business acumen includes problem-solving and analysis.
