Social Guide
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Hours & Shifts: Full Time: Monday- Friday 8:30am-4:30pm & Saturday's as needed Total: 40hours/ week
Hourly Pay: $17.50-18.50/hour with an additional $1.00 shift differential on weekends.

About the Role
As a Social Guide, you will facilitate community-based activities for small groups of adults with developmental disabilities, with an emphasis on community inclusion. You will assist individuals supported by exposing, supporting, and guiding in a variety of activities that promote increased independence, social skill development, and community inclusion.
Essential Functions of the Role
- Transport group to activities throughout the greater Cincinnati area
- Plan and implement a variety of activities out in the community that reflect the preferences and interests of individuals served
- Behavior and interpersonal management of individuals served
- Assist with collaborative decision-making
- Foster connections, natural supports, and inclusion at a variety of community sites
- Provide direct care, including assistance with eating and toileting as needed
- Commit to being part of a team that creates and sustains a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace culture
Candidate Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification (will provide training, if needed)
- Current Medication Administration Certification (as applicable)
- Current NMT Physical required
- Valid driver’s license with fewer than six points, and be insured
