- Accurately record and transcribe Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) virtual hearings for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
- Deliver high-quality, verbatim transcripts in electronic/PDF format with mini-scripts within 10 business days post-hearing
- Maintain compliance with federal guidelines, including IRS privacy and security protocols for sensitive information
- Ensure all transcripts meet the standards specified in the contract and maintain proper formatting and accuracy
- Collaborate with hearing participants to resolve speaker identification or technical challenges during proceedings
- Valid certification or licensure as a Court Reporter
- Demonstrated experience in court reporting, particularly for federal government agencies or legal proceedings
- Proficiency in using transcription software and remote video conferencing tools for virtual hearings
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with IRS privacy regulations and handling of sensitive but unclassified (SBU) information, or willingness to undergo training
- Reliable internet connection and secure home office setup for virtual work
