What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Engineering Aide III (Survey) position at Lafayette Consolidated Government?
PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK
Gathering field data for engineering projects as the Instrument person on the Section Survey Crew by use of the RTK GPS Survey equipment, total station survey equipment and level. Reducing elevation observations for the Drainage Department, Streets Department, and the Engineering Section and assistant to the Party Chief of the Survey Crew.
DESIRABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Graduation from a high school and twelve months field experience as a member of a survey crew.
TYPE OF EXAMINATION
Examination will be a multiple-choice test.
