SUMMARY:
The Director of Treatment Programs serves as a key leader within Lafayette House's integrated service delivery model, providing strategic direction and operational oversight for comprehensive treatment programs serving individuals affected by substance use disorders, domestic violence, and sexual assault. This senior-level position is an integral member of the Senior Operations Team, this position contributes to organizational strategy and growth while ensuring excellence in program delivery and outcomes. The role requires exceptional leadership abilities to manage diverse teams while fostering collaboration across departments to ensure seamless service delivery. This position is responsible for developing and implementing evidence-based, trauma-informed treatment services while ensuring program excellence, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth. This is a salaried, exempt administrative position as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor, with hours and schedule established to fulfill the role's responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead and develop high-performing teams across multiple service lines, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement while ensuring strong succession planning.
2. Provide strategic direction and oversight for all treatment programs, including residential services, peer support, community support, transportation, and client care coordination.
3. Ensure the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed services through program development, implementation, and evaluation.
4. Assist with and execute comprehensive policies and procedures that align with best practices in trauma-informed care and substance use disorder treatment, ensuring consistent implementation across all treatment programs.
5. Monitor program outcomes and quality metrics, implementing improvements based on data-driven analysis and industry best practices.
6. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining necessary licensure and certification requirements of programs.
7. Participate in decision-making and execution as a member of the Senior Operations Team to advance organizational mission and goals.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners and regulatory bodies.
9. Oversee staff development and training initiatives to ensure consistent service delivery and professional growth.
10. Lead quality improvement initiatives across all treatment programs, fostering innovation and evidence-based practices.
11. Performs other duties deemed appropriate and assigned by the CPO.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Master’s degree and licensure in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
2. Minimum of two years’ senior leadership experience in behavioral health or social services.
3. Demonstrated expertise in substance use disorder treatment, trauma-informed care, and behavioral health services.
4. Proven track record of successful program development and implementation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Five years in a senior leadership role in the behavioral or social services field.
- Demonstrated success in senior leadership role with staff management responsibilities.
- Experience with program evaluation.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:
1. Clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, or equivalent).
2. Completed Family Care and Safety Registry indicating employee is not a threat to the health, safety or welfare of clients and pass Department of Mental Health employment eligibility review.
3. Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
