Job Summary And Qualifications
Under the general direction of the Plant Operations Supervisor, performs general/preventative maintenance tasks.
What qualifications you will need:
- At least 5 years in building &/or equipment maintenance field
- Minimum knowledge of common safety hazards, precautions, & practices to establish a safe working environment
- Skill in troubleshooting equipment/systems & effecting appropriate repairs/modifications
- Skill in establishing & maintaining effective working relationships with staff, employees, patients, & the public
- Ability to react calmly & effectively in emergency situations
- Ability to communicate clearly & accurately in English, both verbally & written. Ability to read & understand written instructions & product labels in English
- Must possess & be able to demonstrates skills & ability to at least seven of the crafts/trades from the following: familiarity with NFPA Life Safety Codes, pipefitting, electrician, biomedical, refrigeration, pneumatic control systems, hydronics, boiler repair, cabinetry, familiarity with National Electrical Codes, plumbing, electronics, HVAC, electronic control systems, hydraulics, boiler operations, carpentry & painting
