Laborer (No DUI or Felonies)

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time Blasting Crew Laborer. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our blasting crew by performing various manual tasks, operating small equipment, and ensuring the safe and efficient execution of blasting activities. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Safely operate company vehicles to and from designated job sites, including driving on public and private roads.
• Load and unload explosives products, including lifting and transporting 50lb product bags or boxes as directed, often on uneven and slippery surfaces.
• Assist in blasting preparation and daily equipment setup.
• Operate small equipment such as skid steers and loaders proficiently on various job sites in all weather conditions.
• Work independently with limited supervision, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
• Perform labor tasks at job sites and within the office/shop environment as instructed.
• Maintain a safety-conscious mindset and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Work outdoors daily, regardless of weather conditions, and perform tasks such as standing, walking, and sitting as required.
• Complete miscellaneous labor duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Positive and ambitious attitude with a commitment to teamwork and excellence.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Willingness to travel and stay out of town for short periods as required.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in equipment operation.
• Must meet all State and Federal explosive laws criteria (as defined by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives BATFE).
• Minimum age requirement of 18 years, as mandated by BATFE regulations.
• Ability to pass criminal background checks, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks, and drug screenings. NO DUIs or FELONIES.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Maintain satisfactory safety, performance, and attendance records.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job effectively.
