Description
The Annex Receptionist is responsible for providing administrative support and related office operations; serving as a central information point for Lagoon; and performing related office duties. The Annex Receptionist will be performing various office procedures including answering phones, taking messages, filing, typing, data entry, delivering mail, making copies, etc.
This position is seasonal. Seasonal employees perform their work at certain seasons and periods of the year. Their work, by its nature, is not continuous nor is it carried on throughout the year. A seasonal employee who is employed at the conclusion of the season will be terminated.
Requirements
- The Annex Receptionist must be courteous, professional, and use good judgement when answering questions and redirecting inquires.
- Must be knowledgeable on company policies and procedures including, but not limited to, training procedures, employment policies and procedures, safety policies, guest service policies, etc.
- Have the ability to use various office equipment including multi-line telephones, computers (including spreadsheets, word processing programs, email, etc.) and AS400 computer systems, copy machines, printers, and other necessary office equipment.
- Able to make quick and effective decisions
- Able to make basic math calculations.
- Able to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner as well as handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to learn and operate a computer quickly and efficiently at the same time as interacting with guests and/or employees.
- Able to stand and/or walk for up to eight (8) hours.
