Job Summary
The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of all facility systems and equipment. This role ensures that the facility is safe, efficient, and conducive to a productive work environment. The Facilities Manager will manage maintenance, coordinate repairs, and implement preventive maintenance programs while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role could oversee up to 5 locations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, including maintenance and repair tasks.
- Respond to facility emergencies and develop contingency plans.
- Manage vendor contracts for janitorial, security, HVAC, and other services.
- Coordinate renovations, upgrades, and capital improvement projects.
- Oversee HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems.
- Supervise maintenance staff, providing training and support as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards within the facility.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Skills
- Proficient in managing facility operations with a focus on efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and procedures.
- Experience with logic controllers and their applications in facility management.
- Ability to fabricate components as required for repairs or upgrades.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams while maintaining a positive work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
