Harvest Cellar
Overview of Position:
The main responsibility will be performing duties for the cellar during harvest. This person will provide support for all harvest production activities. This position will be at Laird Family Estate on Solano Ave. It is a temporary position, starting at the beginning of August till the end of harvest.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
CELLAR
· Perform harvest cellar duties as needed, may include but not be limited to:
o Assist on crushing operations.
o Pump Overs.
o Cellar cleaning and sanitation.
o Barrel down.
· Reports to Cellar Master.
Qualifications:
· Ability to read, speak, and write English is a must.
· Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Candidates must also be able to stand for long periods of time, reach with arms and hands, walk long distances, walk up stairs, sit for long periods of time, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl.
· Able to work with Potassium meta bisulfite (SO2).
· Able to work 6 days a week and long hours during peak season.
· Salary Information: DOE $21-open to negotiation
