Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Set up new employees with the right tools and training to hit the ground running; manage account restrictions and data backups for departing employees.
- User Access & Security: Conduct regular user access audits and ensure secure workstation environments, including antivirus, patching, and security updates.
- IT Projects & Migrations: Lead and support software and hardware rollouts, such as antivirus deployments, software upgrades, and meeting room tech installations.
- Tech Support: Be the first point of contact for resolving day-to-day IT issues across the office, warehouse, and manufacturing facility.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop and maintain documentation to standardize IT processes and improve efficiency.
- Purchasing & Vendor Coordination: Manage procurement of IT equipment and supplies, and support contract and expense coordination for IT operations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee routine maintenance and repairs for IT hardware (workstations, network gear, etc.).
- Technology Research: Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to optimize our IT environment.
- Reporting: Provide reporting on IT operations, system performance, and project progress.
- Degree or Formal Training in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , MCSE, or similar are a bonus.
- 1-2 years of experience as an IT Support Specialist, Helpdesk Technician, or similar role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—you’re approachable, patient, and able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Proven ability to build trust and collaborate with cross-functional teams (corporate, warehouse, production, and leadership).
- A customer-service mindset with a calm, solution-oriented approach, even under pressure.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience supporting both office and industrial/manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and the appropriate handling of sensitive information and company data.
- This is a full-time, salaried position paying $55,000 to $60,000, depending on experience.
- Standard hours are Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Occasional support may be required outside these hours for urgent projects or system issues.
- The role is fully on-site, based at our colorful and collaborative office located right off I-15 in Orem, Utah.
