Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Services Leader to lead and facilitate the provision of excellent, safe, evidence-based, and efficient patient-centered care throughout the continuum of care within Surgery and Perioperative Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate the provision of excellent, safe, evidence-based, and efficient patient-centered care throughout the continuum of care within Surgery and Perioperative Services.
- Work effectively and collaboratively with other patient care teams and providers to ensure seamless care transitions and communication.
- Ensure safe patient care in the perioperative arena by articulating, educating, and managing evidence-based patient safety practices consistently.
- Manage the business of perioperative services effectively and efficiently by demonstrating proficient clinical skills and knowledge based on evidence and best practices.
- Participate in the development of strategic plans and initiatives to drive quality improvement and patient satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, making data-driven decisions to inform practice and improve outcomes.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, physicians, and staff.
- Exhibit sound decision-making and problem-solving skills, applying the use of technology effectively to drive outcomes.
- Demonstrate strategic management skills, including project management, meeting defined timelines, and effective communication and presentation skills to lead and manage complex projects and initiatives.
- Lead the caregiver team effectively by demonstrating human resource leadership skills, including recruitment, onboarding, development, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning to drive a high-performing team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Masters degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
- At least 5 years of experience in a surgical services leadership role.
