Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with the CFO and leadership team to shape and execute strategic initiatives aimed at accelerating business growth, with a focus on meeting or exceeding annual production and financial goals.
- Lead day-to-day manufacturing and production operations with a tactical mindset—developing schedules, refining processes, and ensuring alignment with short- and long-term company objectives.
- Drive performance across safety, operational efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction to achieve key business targets.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to assess performance, support decision-making, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements to streamline workflows, reduce production costs, and improve overall output and efficiency.
- Support the development of operational policies and procedures in alignment with company goals, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Oversee procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment, ensuring specifications around quality, delivery, and service are met to support seamless production.
- Build and lead a high-performing team through thoughtful hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management; foster a culture of accountability and growth.
- Partner with finance to understand production metrics and monthly financials, proactively identifying cost-saving measures and operational adjustments to protect profit margins.
- Contribute operational insights to credit decisions by providing local customer context and relationship input to credit management.
- Embrace additional responsibilities as needed in support of operational excellence and overall business success.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises a team of management personnel and individual contributors. Indirectly supervises employees as required or assigned. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, supervising, and training employees; planning, dispatching, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in: Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or Manufacturing is required.
- A minimum of eight (8) years of related experience with at least three (3) years in leadership capacity is required.
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Change and Project Management.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pumping, irrigation system design, financial statements and water handling products.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with attention to detail as well as the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive for results. In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance,
customer service etc.).
- Experience with financial reporting systems (e.g.: UKG, Baseplan)
