As a Service Associate, you will be responsible for lay out, assemble, and maintain pipes, pumps, and related equipment for agricultural or industrial work sites. General labor position routinely bending, lifting, and pushing. Positively represent the Company and maintain good relations with customers. Loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near plant, yard, or work site. This role is perfect for you if you are looking for an opportunity where you aren’t tied to an office every day and if enjoy working with your hands outdoors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take sales orders and quote customers on all products and assist sales staff with quotes, thank you cards and line cards.
• Respond to customer phone inquiries and questions about products, services and respective applications.
• Understands delivery times and freight costs and works with Lake Co. personnel to provide accurate delivery and availability on the quote.
• Follow up and obtain status on all quotes, projects, and large bid awards.
• Routinely touch existing and past customers via telephone or direct mail and update customer database.
• Assemble appropriate sales or product materials for Sales Representatives.
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of all products and their applications, pricing and terms, sales and credit policies, costs/bill of materials, as well as advertisinand promotional aids.
• Promote cooperation and good communication with all Branch and Corporate personnel regarding product availability, delivery and job specifics.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as pump drawings, ag irrigation drawings, and specifications.

Experience

• Two years customer service or sales experience and an associates degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Industry experience in agriculture, rentals, or manufacturing preferred.
