Pay Rate: Range - $17 - $18/hr (depending on experience) Benefits, PTO, Holiday Pay, etc.
The Shipping Coordinator manages daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Order Processing & Coordination
- Schedule outbound shipments with carriers and freight companies.
- Ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, and labeled.
- Verify shipping documentation (invoices, packing slips, bills of lading).
- Assure all job orders are properly closed before shipping products.
- Collaborate with bagging and packing staff.
- Operate and maintain stretch wrappers, banding equipment, baggers, and tape machines.
- Maintain a neat and organized shipping area.
- Work across departments as necessary to support operations.
- Communicate with shipping carriers to arrange pickups, track shipments, and resolve delivery issues.
- Schedule and manage UPS and FedEx shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Utilize W.I.S. Logistics to schedule trucks for shipments.
- Build and maintain relationships with logistics providers.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability for shipment.
- Correct inventory discrepancies by identifying and addressing errors.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to prioritize orders and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and claims for damaged goods.
- Ensure all shipments comply with local, national, and international shipping regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other related documents.
- Prepare customs documentation for international shipments as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Track and report key performance metrics (on-time deliveries, accuracy).
- Work with customer service to improve overall customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with shipping software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with Syteline ERP system is a plus.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment
