What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swmo Rush Soccer Coaches position at Lake Country Soccer?
SWMO Rush is a competitive youth soccer Club located in Southwest Missouri. The club is a non-profit organization that offers youth soccer programs to children ages 3 through 19 years old. SWMO Rush is a member of the Missouri Youth Soccer Association and our teams compete in the ECNL-RL, NPL, MADL, Heartland and Lake Country Soccer Leagues..
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will:
• Follow the direction and philosophy set forth by the Club with the main focus on individual player development
• Lead team training sessions and in game coaching
• Game scheduling and team administration
• Assisting the Club in identifying players and forming teams at Tryouts
• Coaches are required to participate in educational programs such as clinics and Club meetings.
Required Skills:
• Previous coaching experience is preferred
• Passionate about kids and youth soccer
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be fun, energetic and enthusiastic
• Must be able to pass a background check, Safe Sport and all State requirements
• Must be available to work on evenings and weekends
• Be confident and capable of dealing with parents and upholding the Rush Way philosophy
Desired Skills:
• Previous coaching experience
• National Coaching License
Benefits: Competitive pay will be determined by licenses, experience and number of teams.
Position: This is a part-time, W2 position, working during the fall, winter and spring seasons. 1:1 training opportunities available.
