Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Development Services, the Development Process Analyst’s role is to devise and design business process requirements for all software-related business, financial, and operations systems related to the development process. This includes understanding and mapping current systems and researching and analyzing data supporting business functions, process knowledge, and systems requirements. The Development Process Analyst is also responsible for proactively generating and compiling reports based on findings, complete with recommended improvements to – or new requirements for – business processes and operational procedures. This position requires using proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of system enhancements and/or new system investments. Primary focus areas are: (1) process improvement (2) enhancing current systems (3) supporting implementation of new systems, (4) reporting and data analysis (5) standardization of processes. Performs related duties as assigned or needed. This position shall be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires associate degree or the equivalent of two years of college or vocational school education in computer technology, project management, or a closely related field. Requires four years of related experience with computer technology and/or information systems management; and/or project management. Years of experience in an adjacent field may be considered. Specific system certifications or project management credentials are desirable.
