What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fan Engagement Specialist Internship position at Lake County Captains?
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing inbound and outbound ticket sales inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
- Promote and sell tickets for events, or games by effectively communicating event details to customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth ticket purchasing experience.
- Help in the preparation and distribution of promotional materials to boost ticket sales.
- Support the ticket sales team with day-to-day operations, including order processing and reporting.
- Collaborate with marketing to identify opportunities for increasing ticket sales through promotions, social media, and outreach initiatives.
- Attend and assist with on-site sales during events, including box office duties, scanning tickets, and addressing customer concerns.
- Participate in sales training sessions and weekly team meetings to refine your selling techniques.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Sales Manager or Director of Sales.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in, or recent graduate of, Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required).
- Strong interest in sales, customer service, and the event/entertainment industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working with customers and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and during events.
