POSITION: Part Time Welding Education Instructor – Evening
REPORTS TO: Director of Adult Workforce Education
STARTING DATE: ASAP
SALARY: $30/Hour
WORK SCHEDULE: 4-Day Work Week
JOB OBJECTIVE: To plan and teach related and shop activities in the welding curriculum to include the areas of layout, blueprint reading, fabrication, oxy-fuel welding and cutting, shielded metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, gas metal arc welding, flux-core arc welding with self and gas shielded wires, inspection and testing, and welding math. Related duties include curriculum development and course revision; maintenance of supplies, shop facilities and equipment; participation in divisional and departmental activities as required to further the educational program.
