What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator of Golf - Brae Loch position at Lake County Forest Preserve District?
Temporary Positions: April – November 2025
Approximately 20 – 25 hours per week during golf season
SUMMARY
The Coordinator is responsible for the sales and merchandising of the game of golf, food and beverage, and building maintenance. Answers telephone and answers questions relating to the golf operation. Takes and assigns tee times as called in by golfers for future dates. Operates, maintains and stocks golf carts and golf shop. Enforces the District's rules and regulations of the course, informing players of pertinent information and practices. Establishes proper starting orders; arranges players to the tee and schedules groups in proper order to achieve smooth pace of play. Provides high level of customer service and sound public relations. Performs tasks that will require walking, bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, climbing, reaching and sitting. Performs lifting tasks up to 25 pounds.
EXPERIENCE
One year of experience in retail, business, or recreation preferred.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Anticipated Starting Rate: $15.75
