The Lake County Solid Waste is accepting applications for:
Part-Time Administrative Assistant
QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess at least one year of related work experience or equivalent education. Must be knowledgeable of office practices and procedures. Must be skilled in operating office equipment and various computer programs; Possess the ability to perform moderately complex clerical work; Communicate effectively verbally and in writing; Effectively organize and prioritize numerous tasks and assist the public; Understand the basics of County government and finances; Accurate accounting and mathematic skills; Work independently with little or no supervision.
DUTIES: This role entails offering reception services, aiding customers, conducting data entry tasks, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, compiling monthly reports, organizing filing systems, operating office machinery and computers. Additionally, the position involves managing various accounting responsibilities, including conducting research pertaining to solid waste fee assessments, general bookkeeping, monthly billing, deposits.
HOURS/DAYS: 12:00pm - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
WAGE: $17 - 18.00 hourly, depending on experience
