What are the responsibilities and job description for the Monitor position at Lake Cushman Maintenance Company?
GENERAL FUNCTION
The Park Monitors report directly to the LCMC Recreational Operations Manager. All Park Monitors will be given the Manager’s contact information, as well as the contact information for the Security, Park personnel and Mason County Sheriff’s Department.
Representative ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Be on duty Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.
2. Check restrooms on scheduled days, clean and restock paper products as needed.
3. Check all in-coming cars, boats and trailers for LCMC stickers/guest registration.
4. Check parking lots, boat launch areas and docks for proper Member or guest passes. Report violations to LCMC Security personnel on duty.
5. Check and pick up litter within the parks.
6. Greet and assist community Members.
7. Maintain log of Members, guests, turn backs, Member and guest watercraft entering parks as requested by the Recreational Operations Manager.
8. Being a visible representative of the lake Cushman Maintenance Company (LCMC) with knowledge of park rules.
9. Monitor park activities and contact LCMC Security personnel if you observe violations.
10. Refrain from any enforcement actions. In any emergency, contact the Mason County Sheriff’s Office, or Emergency Medical Services, by calling 911 and then LCMC Security personnel over the LCMC radio.
11. Remember the chain of command - all park maintenance or personnel issues are to be brought to the attention of the Recreational Operations Manager. Member /guest issues should be reported to Security.
