What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bat Boy/Girl position at Lake Erie Crushers?
The Lake Erie Crushers are in need of a Bat Boy or Girl for the 2025 season. This is a great summer job for those who love baseball would like nothing more than spending part of their summer hanging around the ballpark.

- Assisting with movement of equipment such as balls, bats, batting helmets, water, cups, towels and other equipment to each dugout.
- Prepare baseballs with pre-game "mud" for all 50 home games
- Retrieve bats and distribute balls to the umpires during game.
- Collecting all balls from the umpires and dugout area, remove all equipment from dugouts and return to clubhouse post game.
- Any other duties assigned by the clubhouse manager.
Skills and Abilities Include:
- Knowledge of baseball and flow of the game
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions; including rain or extreme heat.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
