Job Title: Concession Stand Assistant/Picnic Attendant
Location: Lake Erie Crushers Stadium, Avon OH
Reports To: Concessions Assistant Manager
Job Summary: Are you ready to bring the fun to the ballpark? As a Concession Stand Assistant, you'll be at the heart of the game-day experience, serving up delicious snacks and drinks with a smile. This role is perfect for someone who loves interacting with fans, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for creating memorable moments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet fans with a friendly attitude and provide excellent service, ensuring they have a fantastic experience.
- Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of food items, including hot dogs, popcorn, nachos, and beverages, following all safety and hygiene standards.
- Point of Sale knowledge: Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Inventory Management: Keep track of stock levels, restock items as needed, and inform the supervisor of any shortages.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized concession stand, including cleaning equipment and surfaces regularly.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other concession stand staff to ensure efficient service and a positive work environment.
- Fan Engagement: Create a fun and lively atmosphere by engaging with fans, answering questions, and making recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Game days are a must.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, including but not limited to rain and heat
