Job Summary:
Assists bartenders by carrying supplies to bars, maintain appropriate levels of basement cleanliness and aid co-workers and members.
Responsibilities:
(1) Carries liquor, soda, ice, paper products and other supplies from the basement as required.
(2) Unpacks bar supplies and places on shelves in the basement.
(3) Assists bartenders in setting up and taking down portable bars.
(4) Cuts citrus and perform other bar prep as requested by bartender.
(5) Provides input on bar supply needs.
(6) Maintain proper levels of cleanliness in the basement, including coolers, walkways and all bar areas.
(7) Keep the bar clean and organized. Sweep floor when needed.
(8) Washes glassware by hand or loads glass washer and polish wine glasses as requested.
(9) Interacts in a positive and cooperative manner with members, Board of Directors, guests, co-workers and Managers.
(10) Portrays a positive image for the Club by dressing appropriately for the position.
(11) Maintains a safe work environment for self and others.
(12) Maintains appropriate levels in the areas of daily attendance, initiative and productivity.
(13) Performs all other related duties as assigned.
(14) Operates the Bar Cart appropriately.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Education: Grade school, High school or College student.
Experience: On-the-job training provided.
Requirements:
Physical Demands: Heavy lifting, reaching, bending, stooping. Ability to go up and down stairs and stand for periods of time.
Mental Demands: Ability to follow verbal instructions.
Environmental Demands: Exposure to cleaning agents.
