Responsibilities
- Operate pressing machines to remove wrinkles and creases from garments and linens.
- Inspect items for stains or damages before pressing and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area and equipment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with inquiries and requests.
- Launder items as needed, ensuring adherence to proper cleaning protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dry cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A clean and organized approach to work is essential.
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register is a plus.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
