Job Summary
Under the direction of the Head Coach of Highlander Aquatics, the Age Group Swim Coach is a certified USA Swimming Coach who develops young athletes in a positive environment and encourages individuals to succeed at his/her own level. We are looking for a qualified and dependable individual who loves the sport of swimming and enjoy working with children in a competitive and fun atmosphere. This position also opens opportunities to coachmulti-group levels within Highlander Aquatics. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 3:30 - 6:30 pm. This a 12-month part-time, non-benefited position.

Education/Experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

Education/Experience

- Previous experience as a swim coach preferred.
- Current certifications in CPR and First Aid required.
- Possess knowledge of various strokes and techniques for different age/ability levels.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, to accommodate the program’s lesson schedule.
