School Counselor - Middle School, FY 2025-2026

Job Summary

Lake Highland’s Middle School seeks a School Counselor to provide social, emotional, and academic support to Middle School students. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: creating and updating support plans for students; reading psycho-educational reports; monitoring student academic progress; participation in planning and collaboration of cross-division parent education events; coordination with MS administration to integrate social-emotional learning, development, implementation, and evaluation through our Advisory curriculum; and more.

This is a full-time, fully benefitted, 12-month position. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups to apply.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling or related field required
• Minimum of 5 years experience within the middle school setting
