What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dock Crew / Rental Boat Leader position at Lake Keowee Marina?
Lake Keowee Marina in Seneca, SC is looking to expand our Dock Team Crew by adding a Full-time Dock Crew Member to the team with a focus on rental boat care and quality.
Currently looking for a crew member with experience working at a marina, preferably someone familiar with rental or boat club operations.
Prefer someone with knowledge of boat operation, rental boat care, providing rental boat orientations and doing basic service work to boats & outboard motors - willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities (But, not limited to)
- Primary focus is to make sure all rental boats are in second to none operational condition.
- Second primary focus is to make sure all rental boats are in second to none aesthetic condition.
- Rental boats must be ready to be handed over to a renter within 30 minutes of reservation creation.
- Knowledge of how to do basic levels of service and repairs is a plus.
- When not working on rentals you will be asked to help be accountable for fuel dock, star dock, in water slip, boat ramps to collect fees and all aspects of customer service / front of house business.
- Keep a safe, clean and acceptable work place
- Interact with customers providing the highest levels of customer service during rental boat orientation and rental boat return check-in.
- Summer work will be mostly with fuel dock and rental customers, fall and winter will be small, medium and large projects around the facility
