What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Assistant position at Lake Keowee Marina?
Lake Keowee Marina, located in Seneca, SC, is the largest family-owned and operated full-service marina on beautiful Lake Keowee.
We are located between the major cities of Charlotte, NC and Atlanta, GA, just minutes from Clemson University, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and a welcoming environment for our customers.
With our region thriving, growing region, we are looking for a hands-on, experienced Service Manager to join our strong team.
Attributes include someone who is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- Assist Director of Operations with daily flow of tasks
- Assist rental crew as needed, based on staffing
- Assist in selling new & used boats
- Assist with reporting, paperwork and typing up of misc. creating & editing documents
- More as assigned by DOO
Qualifications
- Boat handling experience necessary
- Basic troubleshoot and hands-on work capacity preferred
- Sales Experience preferred
- Customer Service Experience a must
- Computer Literate - Microsoft office suite, email, FB marketplace and more
- Above average communication skills for internal and external interaction
- Ability to legally drive a car and boat in SC
- Holidays and weekends mandatory in spring / summer
- Legally able to work in the US
