Job Summary:
Under supervision of Program Director, position is accountable for effective operation of Student Support Services Program (SSS) office, providing support to Program Director and other SSS staff. Position performs office management functions such as data entry, filing, office recordkeeping, appointment scheduling, and answering questions. This is also a student facing position.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for managing SSS office and providing support to Program Director and staff.
2. Performs various office functions such as filing, copies, ordering supplies, making travel arrangements, maintaining office and program calendars, and preparing reports, correspondence, requisitions, etc. Handles calls and emails, responding when appropriate and forwarding others to the appropriate person.
3. Performs recordkeeping duties, such as the student database. Maintains all student records.
4. Creates and disseminates monthly newsletter and flyers for student programming.
5. Assists in arranging student tours of and travel to/from campuses and businesses.
6. Assists in training, supervising, and evaluating work-study students.
7. Schedules, coordinates, and assists with student programming and volunteer opportunities.
Other Duties:
1. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:
High school diploma required; Associates degree preferred. Minimum of two years of successful experience in an office position. Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Confidentiality required. Microsoft Word and Excel skills required. Experience working in an educational setting preferred. Banner, Target X and Canvas experience preferred. Person with background similar to target population preferred.
Grade:
Salary Range: $16.42-$18.50
