About this position :
The Small Business Lending Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the Small Business Lending credit process including obtaining all required information, reviewing loan applications for completeness & accuracy, and decisioning loans. They will also be responsible for reviewing monthly reports, audits, and loan closing documents to ensure all compliance metrics are met, while providing feedback and results to management.
What you’ll do :
Interview members regarding their loan application to ensure all information relating to credit and financial review has been obtained and is completed with accuracy. Thoroughly review applicant’s credit along with all business and personal tax returns.
Oversee the Small Business Lending credit process and analysis for each assigned credit request from date of loan request through loan decisioning, making the decision to approve or disapprove.
Monitor monthly business unit reporting including delinquency & charge off for all loan types & employees, and audit loan applications & loan closing documents to ensure all are meeting required compliance metrics to provide monthly feedback & results to management.
Assist management with employee training programs, employee evaluations, projects & updates as needed including annual reviews & updates on all business unit products and procedures.
Authorize release of collateral on existing loans, charge in loan terms, waivers of payments, due date change, etc.
Participate in sales development activities.

Five to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
A high school degree or equivalent
