Lake Norman Electric is a family-owned Electrical Contractor serving the Lake Norman, Lake Hickory and Lake Wylie Communities.
Lake Norman Electric is one of the largest Service Contractors in the Lake Norman area. We are currently looking to hire a Purchasing Agent/Inventory Control Manager. Applicants must be self-starters, motivated, organized, presentable, and be able to pass random drug tests. The ideal candidate would have 5 years of electrical experience in the field and be interested in transitioning to an office position. We offer competitive pay based on experience. This position is full time. Scheduled days are Monday – Friday. We offer 6 paid holidays per year, 40 hours of paid vacation after 1 year, and a Simple IRA plan.
Requirements:
- Must have a working knowledge of electrical materials, and installation methods
- Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Will be required to sign a non-compete agreement & NDA
- Must have a valid NC driver’s license
- Must be reliable
- Experience Required: 5 Years
Job Duties:
- Manage Inventory System
- Warehouse Management
- Monthly warehouse inventory counts
- Ordering expendables and job material
- Stage Materials for pick up
- Order start-up packages for jobs
- Monthly Truck inventory
- Invoice approval / Price comparisons
- Safety Meetings
- Provide support to the Estimating Department (pricing)
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
