Lake of Isles, a 36-hole Rees Jones-designed golf club located in North Stonington, Connecticut, opened in May 2005. Position Summary:
Responsible for assisting in guests’ needs as they relate to spa and locker amenities. Maintains inventory control of all spa and locker supplies and cleanliness standards in all guest spaces, as well as assisting in the handling of lock assignments, keys and articles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs all facets of shoe care, including by not limited to: cleaning, buffing, polishing, edging, and storage of member and guest shoes.
- Performs individual and complete spike replacement services for members and guests.
- Cleans and maintains public and private locker spaces.
- Provides necessary linens and/or attire when appropriate.
- Maintains acceptable levels of locker room supplies and accessories. Notifies management in advance when additional supplies are needed.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining ancillary services such as the handicapping system, membership programs and driving range facilities.
- Perform other duties as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- High school preferred.
- 1 year experience in golf shop and/or customer service/retail sales environment preferred.
- Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
- Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
