Resort Accommodation Specialist
The Lake Placid Lodge is looking for a highly skilled Resort Accommodation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, this individual will be responsible for ensuring that every guest has a memorable and enjoyable stay.
Job Summary:
This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest's needs are met. The successful candidate will be able to work well under pressure, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and effectively.
- Manage online and phone reservations, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues.
- Register guests, collecting necessary information to ensure seamless service.
- Provide detailed information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
- Liaise with housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Front Desk Agent or Receptionist.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to reliably commute to Lake Placid.
- Familiarity with hotel reservations software, like OPERA.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
