Description
Lake Region Corporation is looking to hire a part time staff member to provide an individual in the community with support. This individual is very independent but needs some assistance with some basic activities of daily living.
This position would work approximately 4 hours in the afternoon/evening on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday each week.
Duties would include:
- Providing reminders for
- meal prep
- hygiene
- household chores
- any tasks they would like to accomplish
- Assist the individual(s) with attending events within the community
All training provided.
Hiring Bonus: $500.00 to qualifying applicant
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Computer experience preferred.
- Certification in developmental disabilities preferred. Must be willing to meet certification requirements for the position.
- Must be able to perform CPR, AED, First Aid upon certification.
- Must be able to implement Therapeutic Response Techniques.
- Must be able to occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and lift 10 lbs. overhead.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and squat frequently throughout shift.
