Job requirements:
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively
Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with social/emotional/behavioral disorders & delays
Ability to manage a caseload, keep detailed records, and report on student progress.
Comfort with adapting strategies and interventions to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced school environment
Additional Job requirements:
Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs & develop appropriate treatment plans.
Individualized Therapy: Provide direct therapy and consultation services to students with identified needs
Multidisciplinary Teamwork, Collaboration, and Consultation: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the development & implementation of individualized strategies for student success
IEP Development, Progress Monitoring, & Reporting: Actively participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, & track student progress; Maintain accurate records of therapy, assessments, billing, & progress reports
Behavioral Support: Provide interventions that support students in both academic & functional areas
Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training & professional development
