What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Outreach Assistant position at Lake Regional Health System?
Perform clerical support, data entry, and record-keeping for Community Outreach activities, including community programs presented by staff and physicians. Support the Public Relations and Education departments in scheduling and promotion of community outreach events, such as health talks, health fairs, and screenings. Maintain Community Calendar on LRHS website and internal website FISH.
Serve as the primary contact for conference rooms, visitors, and community members seeking information about community outreach activities by phone, in person, or by email.
Maintain conference room schedules online and order supplies, as needed. Schedule and maintain audiovisual equipment used in the conference rooms.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong word processing, spreadsheets, and database capabilities.
- Strong writing skills, financial record management, prioritization.
- Ability to work in public and strong telephone skills.
- Annual influenza vaccine required.
