Demonstrates an understanding and appreciation of the need for customer satisfaction, promotes, and provides patient focused services, and is responsive to the needs of all customers.

Complaint resolutions, promote education of self and staff, CQI, promote multidisciplinary collaboration, serve as community resource and patient resource, assess patient satisfaction, maintain professional attitude, and behavior.

Performs administrative, leadership, and managerial duties professionally, effectively, and in a timely manner to insure cost-efficient and safe operation of the service provided while insuring compliance with all regulatory agencies including Federal, State, and TJC.

Formulates unit specific procedures and job descriptions; professional growth and education, adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, assures staff competencies, participates in technology selection, participates in all committees as assigned, provide direct care as needed.

Functions within the established budgetary guidelines utilizing sound financial principles.

Budget preparation and monitoring, establish and adhere to master staffing plan, adhere to purchasing practices and policy, appropriate program development, assess and implement cost controls, participate in care path formulation and maintenance.

Makes active contribution to the accomplishment of the strategic plans and goal of the organization.

Support mission and vision, take part in both internal and external projects, assure understanding of the organization goals, and serve as resource person for nursing and community.

Maintains, enhances, and improves the quality of the services within the department and throughout the organization.

Maintains CQI program for staff reward and recognition programs, ongoing assessment of services, practice standards, maintain quality controls and safety standards.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, emphasis in Health Care or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- BLS certification required.
- Annual influenza vaccine required.
