Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our Operations team. This role will conduct quality review processes for daily operational tasks and assist with process improvement efforts.
The goal is to ensure quality results in an efficient and productive manner, adhering to current policy and procedure.
The additional responsibilities include creating reporting, metrics, process flows, and efficiency metrics, as well as tracking, communicating, and remediating deficiencies with proper departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and assist with creating effective review procedures of daily operational tasks related to current policy and procedure.
- Assist with process improvement efforts.
- Perform quality review checks based on developed criteria and prior results.
- Analyze operational processes to drive efficiency and quality output.
- Identify areas of improvement and report as necessary.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and COO to remediate deficiencies.
- Provide management and board reporting.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years of experience in a financial institution.
- 1 year of quality assurance/quality control experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Decision making, analytical, and investigative abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of laws and regulations governing financial institutions.
- Highly detail-oriented and proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A proven track record of consistent performance and achievement.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and coordinate projects.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and team player disposition.
