GENERAL SUMMARY:
To assist the Operations supervisor in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and maintains grounds by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* * * EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY TO DRIVE CDL LICENSE REQUIRED VEHICLES (DUMP TRUCKS / PLOW TRUCKS)
* * * EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY TO OPERATE SKIDSTEER / BACKHOE LOADER appreciated.
Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor.
Cuts grass and trim weeds on organization's property.
Cleans internal areas of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
Washes windows.
Empties trash cans and consolidates trash for weekly pickup.
Paints interior and exterior walls and trim.
Operates snow removal equipment to maintain roads and parking lots.
Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing and electrical systems.
Capable of doing minor carpentry work and building repairs.
Maintains and repairs structures.
Familiar with all phases of maintenance operations
Assists other departments.

Licenses:
Class B CDL license with Air Brakes endorsement REQUIRED, and ability to successfully test for the Illinois Department of Agriculture Pesticides Operator License.

- Building and grounds maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
