Integrity Management Specialist I

Responsible for supporting AC Mitigation and CP designs. Projects will be multi-disciplined covering civil, mechanical, and electrical work, with a strong focus on the utilities area of the business. Responsible for the successful delivery of each project through internal process and procedures. Learns procedures, specifications, industry terms, standards, and work practices. Works under close supervision

Responsibilities:

• Assist on projects to resolve operation problems for both AC and CP mitigation.
• Provide field support on CP, In-Line Inspections, Direct Assessments and AC related testing.
• Produce details of specifications and outline designs
• Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions and provide technical information.
• Organize and reduce data gathered, prepare charts and tables.
• Assemble data for final client report.
• Assist with the preparation of design reports and final project reports.
• Understanding of design processes.
• Perform field work for designs supporting E2-E4.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and alignment sheets.
• Read and understand construction drawings.
  
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Associate degree in math or science preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Experience performing CP field surveys.
• AMPP Cathodic Protection (CP) Certification Tester (CP1) Required.
• Ability to travel to client job sites.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Oil and gas industry experience a plus (preferred)
• 90-120 days travel per year
• Strong organizational skills
• Achieve target dates both internal and external.
  
  
  

Physical Requirements and Demands:

• The job requires the ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation. Routinely use standard office equipment such as but not limited to: computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear.
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to weather including hot and cold climates.
• Ability to work long hours and overtime when projects demand.
  
  
  

Lake Superior Consulting provides competitive compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and specific office/market location. The range of starting pay for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 per year.
