- Teaching fitness and health courses in a lab setting and gym facility
- Creating and promoting an effective learning environment to enhance student engagement and safety
- Assisting students of all ages and abilities in program design and development based on students' goals and capabilities
- Demonstrating the use of gym equipment and proper form for weight and/or cardiovascular training
- Developing syllabuses and Canvas shells as required per institutional guidelines
- Meeting with and advising students on their initial visit to the Fitness Education Center and throughout each quarter
- Maintaining professional knowledge and expertise in the field of fitness and health education
- Attending meetings, trainings, and orientations as necessary
