Job Description
Working under the supervision of the Assistant Director, Food Service the incumbent prepares salads and desserts for patient tray line, cafeteria, and special functions. Prepares quality food, in a timely and sanitary manner, following recipes or supervisory instruction. Maintains accurate production records, and is accountable for the amount, and use of leftovers. May perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
* Prepares menu items according to production sheets and recipes.
* Salad and dessert items are correctly prepared, portioned, garnished and delivered to the point of service in a timely manner.
* Accurately records and evaluates production leftovers.
* Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
* Completes pre-production work as required.
* Assists others with food preparation and performs cleaning assignments in slack times.
Must be fully COVID vaccinated
