Commercial Construction Superintendent

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction practices, honesty, integrity, and the ability to effectively communicate with various subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of work.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
• Implement OSHA safety standards to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Prepare daily jobsite reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction management practices, project scheduling, and site supervision.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards in construction environments.
• Ability to read and interpret specs and blueprints.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
