Summary of Responsibilities The Coordinator for the Office of Student Life (OSL) is responsible for assisting in the development and management of inclusive and representative campus activities including unique student life opportunities for all LWTech's student populations. This position will complete duties while supporting and supervising student employees and using effective event management skills that support the implementation of campus activities including: managing OSL student organization activities, creating and implementing OSL signature events, managing data and resources, and supporting evaluation and assessment, and managing OSL activities inventory. This position reports to the Director of the Office of Student Life.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Student Organization Management Manage OSL's student organization processes to provide access to all students and support students in club chartering and management processes Provide resources and hands-on support to train student leaders and student organization advisors in college processes related to event management, travel policies, risk assessment, and purchasing Manage Phi Theta Kappa honor society activities and membership Support the Associated Student Government when chartering and funding student organizations Signature Event Planning Coordinate the development of short- and long-term planning for the department's quarterly and annual student activities for various student populations including welcome back/information activities, fairs and festivals Assist as necessary and requested, OSL full-time staff with other student focused activities Actively promote involvement and engage identified student populations in college sponsored events and college work groups Assist the Director with commencement planning Activities Team Management Supervise, student organizations, and student government, including meeting weekly with all assigned student employees, offering administrative and supervisory support, and helping problem solve low level work issues Coordinate required event set-up for various campus activities sponsored by OSL Work with the Director when implementing activities Support OSL full time staff in the implementation of annual student leadership training. Be available as an event planning resource for all student employees Support the Director with student conduct processes, including serving as a conduct officer as needed. Office Management Provide a welcoming, enthusiastic, and supportive environment for various OSL initiatives and engage students with campus community resources and activities Coordinate supply management effort with the OSL Administrative Assistant. Manage the department's activities storage space; ensuring supplies are safely stored Provide information, support and guidance to students, staff, program participants and the public regarding OSL department content, policies, and activities and attend meetings of campus organizations as needed Maintain accurate and complete records and files, including, but not limited to, activity portfolios, video recordings, and digital files Coordinate and assist with specialized data gathering and analysis for outcome-based assessment projects, as related to student activity development and college reporting. Prepare narrative and/or statistical reports regarding program operations, evaluations, and student participation Coordinate a variety of complex projects Appropriately balance and adjust priorities based on competing demands and regular office interruptions Other duties as assigned

Compensation & Work Schedule Salary is $5,578 per month. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position.
