Lake Washington School District is looking for qualified candidates for the position of Director, Special Services. This is a full-time, year round administrator position located at the District Resource Center in Redmond. This position begins July 1, 2025.Special Services
Position Summary:
The Special Services Director assists the Executive Director of Special Services in the leadership of special education programs consistent with federal and state laws, rules and regulations and district policies and procedures. The Special Services Director assists the Executive Director for the administration of school specific programs and services that allow students requiring special education services to access general education curriculum in the least restrictive environment while meeting their individual educational needs.

Qualifications:
Salary: Central Administrator, Salary Level 12. Step 1 $186,688 - Step 2 $190,498 (based on 2024-2025 salary schedule) - 261 days. This is an exempt position. Full benefit package available.
